Discover the benefits of Judo
Judo is a martial art created in Japan over a hundred years ago, which uses the body as a lever to immobilize the opponent, with the main objective of taking him down. The first apprenticeship of the judoka is to learn to fall without getting hurt. Kicking, pushing and punching are strictly prohibited.

The white belt is the beginner’s belt, then moving to grey, blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, brown and black. After the black, there is still the dan (degree) of coral and red. The athlete reaches the black belt when he is at the most of his physical vigor, in youth and then goes on to improve mental and spiritual strength in maturity.

Judo provides several benefits, here are a few:

1 – The judoka improves his physical conditioning and gains strength, as the punches work all the muscles.

2 – Judo encourages respect.

3 – It essentially contributes to enhancing logical reasoning, patience and self-control.

4 – It stands out for helping the person to have more discipline, spirit of companionship, loyalty and concentration.

5 – It develops the ability to analyze the reality that surrounds you.

6 – It develops values such as honesty, humility, solidarity and respect.

7 – Strengthens the spiritual part.

8 – Perfect the reflex.

9 – Provides mental balance.

10 – It strengthens self-confidence.

All people can practice Judo. However, it is always advisable to see a doctor before the person’s physical conditions are evaluated. There is no gender distinction, men and women can and should practice art.
