Ajudôu women’s futsal team stands out in exchange

The girls were featured in the results of the games

The Associação Ajudôu, through the Olympic City Project, carried out on Wednesday (11) an exchange program in the city of Ubaporanga-MG. Project students in the city of Ipaba played volleyball and futsal against teams from the municipality. The games took place in the Sports Gymnasium of the Dom Cavati State School.

The students from Ipaba played against the women’s volleyball and futsal team Única Vôlei, under the direction of coach Werick Alvarenga, their volleyball team from “module 1” is the current champion of the JEMG – Minas Gerais School Games.

For the teacher of the Cidade Olímpica Ipaba team, Josimar Santos, exchanges are also useful for learning to lose. “In sports, there are ‘stones’ that are thrown at us, we use this as an example to convert into achieved goals”, he comments.

The Cidade Olímpica Ipaba team stood out in women’s futsal, beating the Única Vôlei team 7×1. The event was attended by the school community, parents, teachers, athletes, fans and supporters, totaling an audience of approximately 100 people.

For the general coordinator of Ajudôu, Júlio Jacques, the interaction between the teams was good. “The interaction was very nice, they also learn from the other teams and make friends, which is the main objective of socialization through exchange”, he pointed out.

Olympic City

The project is developed by Associação Ajudôu, sponsored by Cenibra and supported by Instituo Cenibra and City Halls of Ipaba and Pingo D’agua, serving children and adolescents aged between 07 and 17 years old, enrolled in the public school system in the municipalities.
