Last Saturday (17/07), we received the delivery of the 15th donation of dolls from Ciranda de Soli. For the action, the founding duo, Edlayne de Paula and Fabiana Schimitz, chose Associação Ajudôu, to deliver 35 dolls to the João Bolinha Municipal School, in the Cachoeira do Vale neighborhood, in Timóteo (MG).
The project is part of an initiative, following the business model: one for one, as Edlayne explains: “Ciranda e soli is the first toy brand in Brazil in the one for one model, it is a of business american. This means that for every doll we sell, another doll is donated to an entity, a child who cannot buy it. And we do this through entities, our donations we deliver to the entity, and the entity chooses the children and we deliver them. Today we are here making the fifteenth donation of Ciranda de Soli. Other entities have already been contemplated, including here in Timóteo and Vale do Aço, and we chose Ajudôu because we already know that Ajudôu is a serious NGO, even linked to other serious institutions, so that’s why Ajudôu was chosen in this edition of Ciranda de Soli”.
The donated dolls bring a whole concept, as Fabiana Schimitz explains, in which Soli was created with four premises, namely: “The doll is yellow, it is the color of the sun, it brings this energy from the sun. It comes from solidarity because each doll sold, another one is donated to a child who cannot afford it. It comes with a smile, because Soli smiles all the time. And it comes from loneliness, because when we take a toy to a child who can’t buy it, who doesn’t have anyone to play with, we’re filling the lack of affection.”
We thank you for the opportunity to be part of the history and project of Ciranda de Soli, contributing to bring more smiles to the community.
