Last weekend, the Ipaba volleyball and futsal tournament, run by the students of the Olympic City project, came to an end. Children and teenagers played divided by categories and completed three rounds of games.
All students received medals for champion and runner-up, as an incentive for upcoming tournaments. The student Sidney Junior, was an outstanding student being awarded by the hands of Mayor Geraldo Reis, due to his commitment and collaboration with the project.
“It was a moment of great learning and fun for the students, so we taught them how to win and lose in a friendly way”. The general coordinator of Ajudôu, Júlio Jacques, emphasized.
The student Cauã was also highlighted for his arbitration in discipline and for his development in the 1st Internal Tournament in the Olympic City of Ipaba.
The Municipal Mayor, Geraldo Reis, thanked the Associação Ajudôu e Cenibra, for the beautiful work carried out and its development in the city of Ipaba, MG.
Cidade Olímpica offers volleyball and futsal classes, totally free of charge, collaborating with social development, providing leisure conditions and reducing school dropout rates.
The project benefits 240 children and adolescents and is developed by Associação Ajudôu, with sponsorship from Cenibra and support from Instituo Cenibra and City Halls of Ipaba and Pingo D’agua.
