1st JUDO FESTIVAL of São José do Gioabal
Students from Projeto Ajudôu participated on August 27th in the 1st JUDO FESTIVAL of São José do Goiabal, at Escola Manoel Lúcio de Moraes. The event promoted an exchange of students participating in the project, where an aulão and judo fights were held. In the end, all students received participation medals.
Representatives of ArcelorMittal, city hall and students’ families participated in the event. About 150 children and adolescents aged 7 to 17 have already benefited from the project.
The Ajudôu Project is developed through the Minas Esportiva Sport Incentive Program and is sponsored by ArcelorMittal and supported by the ArcelorMittal Foundation and São José do Goiabal City Hall.
Project coordinator Márcio Oliveira Andrade highlighted the importance of this activity with students, serving as a motivation for everyone involved: students, family members and sponsors.
