I Dionysus Judo Festival
The 1st JUDO FESTIVAL was held on September 17, at Quadra Gentil Geraldo in Dionísio/MG, with the students of Projeto Ajudôu. The event promoted an exchange between the groups of students from São José do Goiabal and Dionísio who are participating in the project, where an aulão and judo fights were held. In the end, students received participation medals.
Representatives of Arcelormittal, city hall and students’ families participated in the event. About 330 students have already benefited from the project in both cities.
The Ajudôu Project is developed through the Minas Esportiva Sports Incentive Program and is sponsored by Arcelormittal and supported by the Arcelormittal Foundation and the municipalities of Dionísio and São José do Goiabal.
The coordinator of the Project Márcio Oliveira Andrade, highlighted the importance of this activity with the students, it serves as motivation for all those involved, students, family members and sponsors.
