Gol Nota 10 Project, sponsored by Liberty Seguros and Gerdau, will benefit young people aged between 7 and 17 for 12 months.

One of the main objectives of the ONG Ajudôu is to provide children and adolescents with contact with sport, as it is through it that the institution promotes social inclusion. With the Gol Nota 10 social project scheduled to start in November, 200 young people aged between 7 and 17 from Brumadinho (100 places) and Bom Sucesso (100 places) are now taking free field soccer classes after school hours.

In 2019/2020, Brumadinho hosted the Esporte Cidadão project, also carried out by the organization. In Bom Sucesso, it will be the first project carried out by the ONG .

Gol Nota 10 will bring a series of benefits to the municipality that go beyond sports classes. In addition to goals, students strengthen their sense of community, increase their social circle and learn about volunteering. Therefore, the development of social sports projects across the country are of paramount importance, because when young people have contact with the concepts and virtues of Ajudôu, they have the possibility to form their character and have a different future, otherwise they would have if idle at home or on the streets.

“What happens is that outside the school environment, there are not many possibilities to practice sports and when there is, it is not financially accessible for most of the population. Thus, many children and adolescents have nothing to do after school hours and often end up having contact, unfortunately, with the world of crime, drugs, among others. The purpose of Ajudôu is to give this public the opportunity to have free access to quality sport, with all the necessary infrastructure for its practice.”, reports the Technical Director of Ajudôu, Márcio Andrade.
