Ajudôu promotes social inclusion through sport
The practice of sports brings together values such as ethics, teamwork, resilience, respect, self-esteem and health.

Since its foundation 23 years ago, Ajudôu’s main objective is to promote the social inclusion of children and adolescents through sports, offering judo, futsal and volleyball classes after school hours.

Currently, there are two projects in progress, Ajudôu Ano III and Cidade Olímpica, which are carried out through the State and Federal Law on Sports Incentives, through tax incentives, with the support and partnership of Cenibra, Arcelormittal and the Municipalities of Ipaba, Pingo D’água, Dionísio and São José do Goiabal.

The Ajudôu Year III Project promotes Judo classes in local schools in the cities of Dionísio and São José do Goiabal, every Monday and Wednesday, with 300 students. The Olympic City serves 240 students with Volleyball and Futsal classes, every Tuesday and Thursday, in the cities of Pingo D’água and Ipaba.

Classes are offered completely free of charge, benefiting a total of 540 children and adolescents, aged between 7 and 17 years. Since its implementation, Ajudôu has already benefited around 20,000 child athletes in 12 municipalities in Minas Gerais.

The project is also an opportunity for entrepreneurs, suppliers, companies and volunteers. By adopting the program, the industries recognize that they have a fundamental role in the development of citizenship and in the formation of the character and values of the children and adolescents who are the future of the country.
