Ajudôu promotes banners in Dionísio and São José do Goiabal

Next Wednesday (10/03) Associação Ajudôu will hold a Belt Promotion ceremony in Dionísio and São José do Goiabal, cities served by the Ajudôu Year III project, which offers free judo classes.

In Dionísio, the event will be held at Quadra Gentil Geraldo, from 8 am and in São José do Goiabal, at E. M. Manuel Lúcio de Morais, at 1 pm. The ceremony will be attended by local authorities, sponsors, supporters and the community.

The event represents an important step for the little judokas, who passed theoretical and practical exams and were evaluated in terms of class attendance, good grades, behavior and age.

“The change of belt, in addition to being a great motivating factor for children, serves to indicate time for practice and knowledge about Judo. It also brings to the practitioner a greater sense of responsibility, because over time, he becomes an example for the less graduated”, declared the technical coordinator of Ajudôu, Marcio Oliveira.

The Ajudôu Ano III project is carried out by Associação Ajudôu, through the Minas Gerais State Sports Incentive Law, sponsored by Arcelormittal and supported by Fundação Arcelormittal Brasil and the Municipalities of São José do Goiabal and Dionísio.

In judo classes, the fundamentals of the sport are taught, as well as the values of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, tolerance, among others. Students have to maintain a great attendance in classes and get great results in the classroom.
