The Associação De Peito Aberto Incentivo ao Esporte closes the sixth edition of the Ajudôu project, which assisted 591 children and adolescents aged 7 to 17 enrolled in Public Schools in the cities of Raul Soares, Nova Era, Antônio Dias, Naque and Periquito, in the last 12 months .

The seventh edition of the project has already been approved by the Ministry of Sport and we are finalizing the fundraising process to continue the service. In its new stage, the Project will serve 500 students in the cities of Periquito, Naque, Antônio Dias, Nova Era and Belo Oriente.

Students will receive new kimonos and uniform shirts to participate. Children must be enrolled in public schools.

In judo classes, the fundamentals of the sport are taught, as well as the values of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, tolerance, among others. Students have to maintain a great attendance in classes and have great results in the classroom.

The basic idea of the project that completes 21 years is to offer an opportunity for healthy and organized coexistence, with lots of fun and mutual respect.

The Ajudôu Project is now a state reference in promoting the practice of judo in public schools, celebrates the general coordinator Júlio César Lana Jaques.

This work is made possible through the Federal Sports Incentive Law, of the Ministry of Sports and has the sponsorship of the companies CENIBRA, BROOKFIELD and NOVA ERA SILICON.
